I've just finished this old vinyl kit, just four parts. Painted with acrylics, no airbrush.

Wow, I used to have this kit, but I think I sold it. That's a really nice paint job, the eyes especially, look excellent.

This looks incredible-- great job!

Could you please discuss some of the techniques you used? I'm especially curious about how you did the stockings, and would love to hear how you did the hair as well

The stockings.
I started with a base of white. The kit was produced in black vinyl, I used Games Workshops Skull White from a spraycan as primer.
On top of that I painted a thin coat of Model Colors Salmon Rose. When it had dried I painted a variety of flesh colors, browns and black in a wet mix. Finally a very thin drybrush the salmon rose.

The hair
It was painted flat black. Highlights where drybrushed first with a mix of black and Hull Red, finished with a second drybrush of just Hull Red.

Elvira should basically be just flat black. But I thought this was too dull. Therefore I added the brown to the hair, som blue to the dress and a very dark red to the belt. Just to break up all this black.

Great job. Congrats
Smoke black for the stockings?
Thanks! :)
Nope, no smoke. Please see above.
