El Fetts ASM2 WIP using Orhadars print.

Hi can anybody just help me? I've been asking professional people in other suits and over 15 people or so but they all CANNOT HELP ME. I need help sewing a dgp TASM 1 part ,I've been stuck at the legs for months as I'm not sure how to proceed. And can somebody here be nice and provide aid instead of all being inactive ? Would appreciate any pms...

on the second picture, the seam line on the back doesn't line up with the seam line under the belt.

Re: Redtogusa's ASM2 WIP using Orhadars print. (Update 16/7/13)

Yes mate I did. It went over a manni head before painting.

Thanks guys for all the kind words, it's nice to get outside perspective sometimes. Still, the camera does make it look better than it is IMO. Anyway I'll carry on for now, see how it goes.

Think I should clarify a few things. I ended up only doing one thick layer of the latex. I discovered that by 'blending' the joins with the nozzle you can stop them from splitting.

The latex does shrink a bit as it dries so you have to lay it on slightly thicker than normal.

As the latex dries it darkens so mix a colour that looks lighter than the shade you want.

I started by mixing acrylic paints into the latex to get the colour I wanted but I've started mixing in puff paint which gives a really good consistency.

I've just been putting the latex mixture into an empty puff paint bottle and using the standard nozzle.

I hope this helps :)

did you mix acrylic black + puff paint with latex or just puff paint with latex?
and which puff paint did you use? Tulip Matte black or slick black?
