Last of the pics.
Yeah I was really worried. Not any more though.![]()
It really doesn't look toyish in person. I thought it would, but it looks much better.
But by the same token, crappy photos make the weathering look far worse than it is.
Very nice model but definetely need a complete repaint to do it justice it deserves to illiminate that toyish cheap look, I can't wait to see a accurate realistic repaint and cover up those huge canopy hinges. they should have put "U" shape hinges from the inside to not affect the outside
design.

True but not as much, I've seen many bad ILM photos and the models still have a realistic weathering look to them, the thing that affects a good weathering is a flash which washes out everything and only the darkest weathering pops out.

PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES.
Here are some comparison pictures.
PHarchivist had a great idea - standing on the fuselage -
so here they are!!
LOOK HOW MASSIVE IT LOOKS!!!!! (that's a v3 by the way!) I got down low to the ground the gun barrels are nearly perfectly straight up and down - which means that I was pretty level... You can see that the efx is much larger than the v3.

I wouldn't have really posted any pictures until I got some nice ones off of my dslr - (this is my crappy handheld) but those engine caps really made me feel like Efx put a lot of thought into this model - and I thank them very much for it.
I love it.
