Hope it's OK to post this here (if not please delete).
Efx Vader helmets just gone up on the Play.com website (unfortunately not the Legend version, but you can't have everything).
Going for £899 (save £100), but when you add the FREE shipping, not a bad deal.
I'd get in there before they're gone.

Just FYI, it says the edition size of the Limited Edition is based on the pre-orders on eFx's website, so "I don't believe 'before they are gone' matters, does it?

Or did I miss them actually announcing a definite edition size?

I meant buy it from Play.com before they're gone. The FE Golden Gun sold out on their site, so I'm assuming they will only get a limited number to offer.
I don't know about final edition numbers, but according to the blurb on the Play site, this version is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide.

I am astounded at the shipping costs for our UK buds. On average I have paid $40 dollars to have a 1:1 helmet shipped from UK. I am completely scratching my head over this one.

Only $1400+. Good deal UK rip off special. :rolleyes

I know what you mean, but to be quite honest, for Play.com it's not as bad as I thought it might be (have you seen how much they're asking for the Efx TIE Fighter?).
If you were going to ship one from the USA, you might pay $1450 with shipping, but it's the import charges that really sting you.
I have been caught out with some horrendous import charges (plus shipping companies processing fees+VAT+blah blah) after thinking I was getting a real bargain from overseas.
UK customs really seemed to have clamped down over the past couple of years. Nothing seems to get through unchecked anymore.

There are ways and means.

Still, you could probably save as much as $300 buying from the US via a 3rd party.
