I am sure this will happen. It will look great next to my props kept by my Great, Great, Great, Great Grandchildren. Because that's when it will get delivered.

I love how they are getting in there and scanning everything for their products and using it as a sales point. If you asked toys companies or collectible companies if they used scans they used to dance around the question uncomfortably.
Lets see how detailed this really is at the end.Hasbro released a Revealmask.Sideshow also.
Its absolute impossible to fake some of the most important Originalparts of the mask like the shutters and dynodes.

They would have had to use a blue light scanner and those get every little detail down to the orange pealing in the paint.
What is more interesting is that if you print this helmet and make a buck and vacform it, your still vacforming a vacform. You need to peel off whatever the original thickness is so when you print and form it, you get the original final shape if that makes sense.

Lots of modern props today like the Bo Katan helmet are all printed.They can use the original files and can make a near perfect prototype.
But the old props are all handmade and casted from a siliconmold.They are loosing or fake so much details with the scan and printingprocess.
But only scanning is possible today...from what I know...the Lucas Archive has forbidden Siliconmolds of their artifacts after EFX damaged the real ESB Boba Fett helmet buy moulding.

I think they will do it like the sideshow bust...
Yes on this pic the face looks awesome.But from what I know they ruined the eyes and the overall painjob was also not like this.

Interesting that they scanned the original. If they don't change things too much, they should be able to receate the look. If they find the right materials and paints they can make it look exactly right, and with the scan they may be the first to get the placement and angle of the neck brace right. Though I would be hesitant to preorder from them...
And yeah... they need to get that trooper stuff sorted. They should find a way to pressure cast it if vac-forming is too difficult and then do a one-piece fiberglass helmet for the standard line.
