There's a few pictures of the obi and anakin posted over at rebelscum. Looks like there's a lot of glue residue, orange peeling and a problem with the obi warping into a boomerang shape.

I got the v2 (and only the v2) and it is, indeed, the most disappointing item I've ever ordered from a licensed company. Hasbro sabers have a better finish and paint job. Unfortunately it is also my first Efx item.

Bah. I've been looking forward to these forever, but they look really shoddy. I was hoping that behind glass they'd be display worthy, but they really are just belt hangers. Oh well, I guess that's what they were billed as, so no reason to complain, but after the amazing Qui-gon CE, these are a fistfull of blah.

EFX has not impressed me. The Asokha was overpriced, the Xtreme Kenobi is taking years, and they seem to pretty much not have any product. I miss the good old days of regular MR stuff coming through the pipeline instead of this "one item every six months" crappola.

I received my ROTJ v2 today (I'd preordered through a licensed vendor). Genuinely disappointed. I second all the criticism already raised - casting is warped, paint is bad (like, really bad), and parts were falling off, right out of the box. Yipes!

I received the eFX Dooku sabre and was happily impressed. The finish was flawless--much more detailed than I'd expected.

I am glad they are finally offering the non-weathered version.

But comparing pics from BBTS, Redford Films to the one on Brians Toys shows a lot of difference in terms of metallic appearance and the control box. Guessing the pic on Brians is probably an old one then.
