Right - he is not doing them anymore to my knowledge, but an EFX repaint by Mr Mold Maker is as good as it gets for a Din Mando lid. They had problems with the V1 helmet as well.

Heh I’m sorry to hear ya got stuck with it..I had a very similar issue with my Anovos last year. That one I’m stuck with. I hope EFX will respond letting me exchange.
At least it wasn’t just my luck. In a perverse way it’s comforting to know the problem is common.
A very sad state of affairs.
Dang I was unaware of thisThey had problems with the V1 helmet as well.

What makes it worse it's the same problems with the V2 with crooked scribes and paint issues being the same problems with the V1.Dang I was unaware of this
Not cool at all…What makes it worse it's the same problems with the V2 with crooked scribes and paint issues being the same problems with the V1.
I have been drooling over Mr Mold Maker’s work and would love to see his take on what a season 2 helmet should look like.Right - he is not doing them anymore to my knowledge, but an EFX repaint by Mr Mold Maker is as good as it gets for a Din Mando lid.
"Warehouse finds"EFX just listed the Season 1 Mando helmet back on their website. Must have had a bunch of returns…..

Even though I will basically destroy this thing with criticism as it's unacceptable that they used the screen used master and yet still softened some areas, trimmed some areas, etc... I will defend it just a little by saying that aspect is on the show's helmets as well, although Anovos did a much better job at replicating it. I believe the helmet itself is meant to be symmetrical, but once you trim it and start actually putting the visors into these guys, even if you try your best to get it perfect, it doesn't always line up perfectly symmetrical unfortunately. I can forgive the little bit of that on the anovos, it's not terrible, I can't forgive how bad and wide it is on the Efx.You can see that both companies seem to have trouble with the left side (If you are wearing the helmet.) cheek, or what ever the technical term is for it. Neither of my helmets line up correctly.
The plaque for my efx Season 1 helmet is 4 1/2 inches x 1 3/4 inches.Does anyone know the size of the plaque? I am getting one made and I want it to match the EFX one.
Thanks buddy. Unfortunately I had to rip the liner out of mine to redo the visor. I am going to repaint it this spring and then figure out how I want to redo the liner. The plaque for my efx Season 1 helmet is 4 1/2 inches x 1 3/4 inches.
