eFx Collectibles Announce THE AVENGERS Limited Edition Replicas

You would think with all the inquires and questions about release dates and pricing they could at the very least put an update on their website so they could stop with some of the questions. A simple, hey this is the expected or proposed release date and the potential pricing. It can help in two ways. One, it will calm some fans and put us at ease so we have a time frame to look forward to. Secondly, a lot of fans will give feedback on the reasonableness of the price or they can gain feedback on how many pre-orders they may be able to get so they can set the level of production appropriately.

I've never seen a company that does what seems to be such good quality work, yet lacks SO much in customer service and any bit of customer satisfaction. Just my thoughts.

Are these available for pre-order or what? I haven't seen any pics other than the promo stuff and I really dig that Irom Man helmet. Anyone got the 411 on this?

No word. I expect the Avengers DVD/Bluray will come out before preorder or even pricing will be available. Ah well.

Maybe now that the "Legend" Vader helmet is rolling out, efx can catch their breath and turn their attention to the Marvel line.
Sadly, continued lack of any communication from them makes me appreciate how Factory Entertainment has been doing business even more.
Jusg check out the Neuralyzer thread - they've chimed in reliably to answer customer questions and concerns.

Have you guys considered that maybe they don't have an update to give and that's why the silence? ;) Putting out licensed props is more complicated than we realize and involves many levels of approvals for even the most minute of details. Including price and release dates. Speaking off the cuff on a forum regarding such details when they are not yet known would only stand to do them more harm than good.

Yes we have, and if you read any of the previous pages, you'd see that total silence is still not doing them any benefit. Just saying 'we're continuing to work on the details' would be something.

Agreed.
Let us know our voice is heard - let us know you're alive and working on the issue.
There could be a stipulation with Disney or Marvel that prohibits efx from speaking on updates, but if tha's the case, why release teaser photos and display the prototypes at a con if you're not willing or able to discuss them?

In the WonderCon video on Youtube this past March, the EFX President Brian Ono said that pre-orders would be April/May..and delivery would be this summer. Well, that's not going to happen now.

Agreed. Not going to happen at all. Reading another post earlier I think they hit it right on the head too. There was no reason to give teaser pics or display the prototypes at an event if you weren't even close to ready. I'd rather have not known they were making them then knowing someone is and they are no where in sight of being released.

I'm sure EFX Collectibles will be at San Diego Comic-Con this month with more sketchy pre-order and release dates. The Avengers DVD will be out before they even set a date for release. I'm sure once the pre-orders start and the actual release date is given...there will be more delays (just like the ones they just had with the new Darth Vader helmets). In other words, you will probably see the replicas in 2013.
