eFx Collectibles Announce THE AVENGERS Limited Edition Replicas

I ended up canceling my efx shield order I am hoping to find a nice metal one but if I can't I'll settle and get the limited edition efx version as it's the most screen accurate version

I asked the guy how much he thought the Star Lord helmet would sell for. He said $400-1000. Nooooooooope.

EFX have a really big problem with missing the boat on getting products out when the films are popular, they'd sell twice as many if they released products at the height of each films hype e.g. it seems pointless releasing a mk3 iron man helmet now when the mk43 is the helmet which will be popular this year

Very nice I would definitely get that orb I wonder if the eyes on the star lord helmet will light up red

I would hope so, but by the time it is released the technology will probably exist to have it fold up behind your ear as welll!!!!

Thanks for sharing/bringing them here (and thanks to those who took them)!

Rather frustrating, they offer top quality products at reasonable prices, but the communication and timeliness just isn't there. I've bought a few small things from them (never pre-order items, only when they are in stock) and love them.

I understand the issues they face, but they would be well served to have a better liaison in place between them, the studio, the factories, and the customers. Finances might not allow and they might not be able to find the right person regardless (would definitely need a very strong and experienced person between them and the studio, as that would be the toughest, but would do the most good). I've seen first hand the effect having the right go between and how much things can improve.

It's so weird to see pics of EFX products that may never get completed and released within our lifetime. I'm still waiting on the Capt America Avengers shield (yes, The Avengers, the first movie that will soon be stored away in the Walt Disney vault). The only positive thing about their long delays is that it allows us to save one quarter a week and it should be paid off by the time its release.

More like a handful were sent out back in Jan-Feb. and rest of us still haven't received anything.

They must have sent more than a hand full in February as I got number 0998 of 1500. I thought that was a odd number as I expected to get a number in the 0-200 range.

Well, I found out that I'm one of the top five on the list for the next batch coming in MAYBE this month. Who would have though it would take them more than THREE YEARS since they announced it to still be sending out The Avengers shields. C'mon, since The Avengers movie, they released CA: Winter Soldier, Avengers 2 and already filming CA: Civil War. That's a terrible way to run a business!

Say what you will about Master Replicas, but they got stuff out on time for the most part with great quality. eFx needs to smooth out the process a lot.

eFx seems to be under financed, or something, because they issue product in "waves" which seems to indicate that they save their dimes and dollars and buy a batch, and then use the money they receive from that batch to pay for the next batch, and so on ... With their release of the Disney Nautilus a few years ago, people waited ages to get their order, and it took nigh-on to 3 years from announcement to release of the first puny batch to be sent out. While their stuff is first rate, they really should correct these issues before more-and-more potential buyers just say, "forget it", and the whole scheme just implodes on itself.

eFX announced over email they got the license for BTTF and will also have replicas to display for AoU and Ant-Man at SDCC, looking forward to those SDCC pics, even if all those props end up being vaporware :lol
