I was fortunate enough to obtain a casting directly from the ILM molds a few years ago.

As I can clearly see from the master of the TM mask and my cast: the so called "C-scar" came from a bubble that was in the gel coat which was pressed down more on the left side. It was then made more visible by using the dry brush technique with silver.

The TM casting had the scar. That´s a fact. It wasn´t added later.
We TM owners have no need to lift TM over the EFX ANH helmet.

You have only words from Gino. The pic he posted is photoshoped and without all the details on this lid. There were shown many detailed pics before and they were ignored by some of you because they dont want to see anything. As long as this discussion is only bashing and trolling from a few "new experts" and Gino and as long as there are just silly comments its not worth anymore to post in this thread. Be happy with your eFX helmtes......i'm sure they will turn out great. Lets hope so because i have one on order too
I can't believe there is actual fighting over this. You want to see a real c-scar?... a tornado just leveled a few towns near me. Big picture, this is not that important.
People can decide for themselves what they believe, and certain truths do actually exist. I for one am still looking through pictures, screen caps, and trying to decide for myself. If anyone wants to provide any additional proof, I am more than willing to look and not post them on the boards (teecrooz@hotmail.com). :thumbsup Also, I'd be more than willing to buy fan made cast. Just putting that out there.

Yeah it may but keep in mind those scenes were filmed with a panoramic lens and the fact that the film was not shot in HD to begin with so I fail to see how Blu Ray will show better images.
It's very obvious the efx offering stands merit and the fans displayed this with buying it seriously , they sold out 1250 helmets in less than a week so something was correct with this helmet.

Some months ago you knew nothing about Vader helmets.
The same guys who you now attack, are the same guys who tried to help you with your questions in this thread:
The same helmets being discussed as being the better ones to get are the same ones you attack now in this thread.
If you think the eFX is the holy grail now ...its ok. If you have the opinion Gino's word is more worth than that of others guys who are into the Vader thing since many years.....ok.
If you think Gino is such a great character just because he was involved in the making of this helmet, not knowing all the things he has done in the past.....ok
BUT please have a little more respect for some people here. You just becoming personal in nearly every post. If you dont agree with made statements and dont believe some arguments here its one thing but making one silly comment after another is not expedient.

It'd be different if it were an actual discussion. However, this has basically degenerated into a "Yes it is", "No it isn't" back and forth with basically no new information in the last 2-3 days. There are probably, literally, 400 posts in this thread of the back and forth on the scar over the last 2 days.
God, himself, could show up and say whether or not the scar was physical or not and half the people in the argument wouldn't believe him.
Regardless of whether or not you like Gino, he showed photos of the baker mold and there was no scratch. Of all the people supposed 'in the know' only one (possibly two, hard to recall in this many posts), to my recollection, has shown a helmet with a physical scar yet numerous people have said it's there without providing any evidence. Say what you want about Gino, but he seems to have been more than forthcoming on this helmet. The same cannot be said for the 'in the know crowd' who withhold information for whatever reason (so cheesy vendors don't get a hold of it is my favorite though ( :rolleyes)).
