Photos of the ECS Norris under construction for anyone without a Facebook account......

This is a deep space cargo ship that I designed to fit into the Trek Universe. I got the inspiration from the designs of John Eaves for some of his cargo ships seen in the various Trek shows and movies. The scale is the same as the ERTL 1701 kit and this model measures around 38" long. The two work pods are housed in the aft section of the command module and will be removable from their docking ports. I'm planning to have one unloading cargo from the open bay doors of one of the cargo pods.

I'm in the weathering stage at present and I've got to get the decals on next.

Got more decals on and some painting done tonight. Hope to get to more tomorrow. The last photo is of my USS daVinci which I'm also working on for the model show in May.

Finished decals tonight. More weathering with pastels also started. Hoping to get this one done by the end of next week. All that's left is some pastel work on the containers and then a clear mat finish coat. :thumbsup
