I never thought the day would come, but I've been recast!!! :lol
It seems my "Day of the Dead" paper has made it into recast history. A while back I made these:
I made a limited run of them and sold them on the RPF, one on eBay I think, and then stopped making them. I never released the PDF to the public to make copies of the paper either.
Well then this guy seems to have decided he wanted to make copies and sell them on eBay. Here's his:
The only difference is he fattened up the THE DEAD WALK font a little bit, but the only thing from the movie that's in his paper is the story titles and the text layout! All the actual meat of the stories was entirely written by me, made to visually match the line breaks of each column. I even have my name in one of the articles as an injoke. Every word in the stories was lifted from my paper exactly, even though he says they were taken from a screen used one!!!
So what should I do, ask him for a cut of the proceeds or just report him to eBay?
