I've been adding to the Eagle build videos since I shot that first unboxing video about a month and a half ago. Here are parts 1 and 2 of the build. I am hopeful I can get part 3 done this Sunday, but we shall see. I will say this model builds VERY well even for a first run test shot. The problems I've encountered are very few and easy to correct and I understand practically all of them have been rectified in the second run test shot that James Small built a few weeks ago. I'm going slower on my build simply because I don't have a deadline and I am taking my time to build things right. While the shipping date has slipped, this model will certainly be worth the wait.

Just an fyi to Hobbylinc pre-orderers, I guess.
Hobbylinc cancelled my Eagle preorder. They auto-close preorders at six-month intervals.
The new preorder price has jumped a wee bit so I've submittted a question if I may renew at my same preorder price.

If you receive an email that your order from hobbylinc has been canceled call the number below and tell them you still want your order and they will reinstate your order at the original price you got. The computer automatically kicks backorders out over 6 months. I did it and as you see below I'm still at the $81 each. Call now even if you haven't been canceled yet. 1 (888) 327-9673

I had the model pre-ordered with Hobbylinc posting to UK @ a good price, but the order has been cleared now,.....not too worried because there's now UK retailers who have it listed
I re-pre-ordered it with Forbidden Planet UK who has it at just over £100,....not bad, because it was a bit of a mystery how mutch import duty I would have had to pay from America
......so all you guys in Europe.....get it pre-ordered

They are Round2 parts and they are about a month behind these kits. Don't forget there are two accessory kits, the second is the RCS (reaction control system) thrusters on the shoulder pods!

I got my shipping notice from Hobbylinc John. I'll let you know what the import duty nets out to be. I usually expect the worst, and then get further disappointed!
