Eagle patch help

I'm thinking of making one if these jackets for myself as I'm a HUGE Beatle and Lennon fan. Who here can name this elusive patch for me on the right breast of this Jacket?

You can zoom this photo up if you need to. It looks like a golden eagle with something in it's mouth that's bleeding, or it's carrying a red feather boa. lol This is the LAST piece I need.

Thanks guys and girls,
Joey Bravo :)

Check The web for warsurplus as this is a Vietnam era item. They can still be found. As for the patches you can find these online too. Thanks :cheers :thumbsup

It's actually a shirt, not a jacket, although it is heavy enough to be worn like a lite jacket; I do sometimes with mine. Vietnam era. Military surplus shops should probably have some. That one is also quite used/distressed (but that's a bit obvious)... I know that there are a number of surplus sites that sell a bunch of patches, so those shouldn't be too hard to find.

If you have an Uncle Sam's Surplus nearby, they probably have (or can get) any of the patches you need. Or just look in your local yellow pages under Military Surplus or Military collectibles.

By the way, that second photo of the fella playing guitar is NOT John Lennon...it's Tim Piper. He' s a well-known tribute artist out there who looks strikingly like JL. Do a Google search and check him and his band out. They're called Working Class Hero.

Hope I can bump this. I didn't see where I couldn't. I found everything above thanks to you except for this golden eagle patch on the right breast pocket. I've been searching for days for this thing and I'm still lost. Again, I appreciate all the help you guys have given me, and I hope you can help me on this last patch.

That does help thank you. Now I can get that shirt made. I am really going for the jacket as it would be soo hard to do and I would love to be one o the few to get this jacket 100% accurate. at least I got a shirt though. Thaks man.

Its a pathfinders patch

try RangerJoes.com

But the patch that you have in the first picture, is a Pathfinders patch turned sideways.

Actually by military nomenclature it's a coat. The shirt is worn underneath it, and a jacket is much heavier. Seems odd I know, but thats how they term it.
