Here's one I doubt would ever make it through customs!

Something for my fellow DUNE fans and one very, very patient client. :)

All metal, "fully Loaded" Hunter Seeker Control. This piece weighs about 5 pounds with all the gear in place. Everything was custom machined.

The Seekers are made of machined aluminum, brass and acrylic and tipped with hypo needles.

Here's a photo of the unpainted prop missing a few greeblies.



Here's the finished piece all Duned-up. It almost hurt to paint this one. I was liking the clean look but there's nothing pretty about it in the film so...

Sorry, man. That run is long gone and the control box was a special order.

There are no decent plans for the seekers out there that I've found. In fact, multiple pieces were used in the film; they all had subtle differences. Some had flat bar running down the side, others had round, etc.

These were engineered off of what I believe to be the most ornate piece seen in the film. The seeker we see in Paul's quarters; lots of close-ups!

Superb work again Rylo, and the paint job looks great. Congrats to your client on a very classy prop.

VERY nice! But I wonder how the heck it was supposed to operate? Which is the handle, where's the trigger? The part that looks like a barrel doesn't look like it could hold a hunter/seeker.

Oh well, lovely anyway! Wish I had the money when you had the hunter/seeker run going. :(

Those are gorgeous. I would of purchased one. But im sure the price was Up there.... For such a fine piece!
