My thinking is that it’s Duke Leto’s
(like it appears in the First movie’s Signet scene - hopefully with many more Sequels
to come lol)
Plus the larger size makes for a more impressive & iconic looking Replica.

All rings are polished and plated. We've started the finishing work and are experimenting with different options. I'm going to try and get the raised areas on the bottom half of the ring more black but as is it's already really really nice with the black just in the recessed areas.

it doesn't 'stick' as nice to the raised areas but I'll do my best.

Update with more black added to diamonds and raised ^ shape to match screen used pics, and gems installed in place! The black is seen worn down some off these raised surfaces on screen, and I expect this to happen as well on the replica ring over time. The recessed areas it'll stay put.

What do you use for the black? I'm thinking of trying black rub-n-buff to paint the rest of it black or touch up areas where it wears off.
