Anakin Starkiller I would still be interested in a set! Guess I had never seen reference of that saber before as was a little taken back by it. A thin neck Graflex had never crossed my mind.

I'd be very interested to see a set of these made.
We've never had references like this! We knew there was a thin neck stunt, but haven't had details on the grips.
I'm guessing it had something to do with rigging/swapping the blades. There has to be some sort of functionality to it.

Definitely looks like the grip and clamp were separate plastic pieces. Judging by the line at the end of the grips toward the clamp, it looks like it separates there. Maybe the whole grip/pommel section is a sort of long molded plastic cap that goes over what would be the 'blank' aluminum bottom that extends down from the emitter/top half, just with a milled down OD to allow for the plastic grip cap.

That modeling job looks great Dan.
I'm undecided about the clamp section. The smooth sections to either side of the textured section... Sometimes they look like they're the same diameter as the knurl (as it is on the hero), sometimes they look thinner.

thye are slightly thinner, as the top of the knurl has been cut off leaving that square area

Lower, or pretty much even, I think that Anakin Starkiller might need to tweak his model a bit so the faux activation plate can sit flush across the surface of the clamp section.

the plate sites slightly above its hard to see in these photos, ive got some other refence of these hilts that make it a bt clearer
I’d definitely be interested in this dueling set as well as the hero set, especially if they lead to that Obi TPM saber!Hmmm thought there'd be more interested here. I've been keen on the dueling hilts for some time. Maybe it's just me
So, my thoughts on this..
That piece looks to be a separate tube to the upper half of the saber. I see some striations on it, and I wonder if they spun-sanded the piece to finish it and that blunted the knurling. I agree the bands left and right are at the same height, looking at that plate where the clamp box would be.

The hero and the mr are total different sabers in appearance. The Mr is based on an advertising propMmmmh...looks like a Master Replica light saber
