Dread Bead Question

I'm going to make dreads soon, and going to make my own beads, but want to know what those things are called that you can slide onto the dread, and then clip on more acc. as you desire (feathers, and other beads on a string) like what Elder has, plus I found one where they put it on a actual dread bead:


I'm just wondering what thses clip things are called, so I can search for them. I'm going to Michaels arts and crafts this week, and plan on looking for supplies, including these beads and these clip on thingys.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the beads are molded and cast that way. Are you sculpting and casting your beads? If so, just add the "bump" to the side of one of your sculpts and you can drill a hole and add a ring after it's out of the mold. Hope this helps.
