DP Helmet - Following Volpins method

Hi,

I'm trying to replicate Guy's Daft Punk helmet vaguely following Volpins method... I'm trying to stick to his way as much as possible but do not have the tools available to me that he has sadly so it will no doubt be no where near as perfect.

Here is where I am up to so far:

Currently I am struggling to get the curvature precise and trying to get it as smooth as possible.

Wish me luck!

Good luck Eclex. I like your avatar. LOL!

You can post the pictures directly into the thread using the little icon with the mountain and sun above the entry window. Paste the URL there and the image will appear in the thread. Like so:

Either that or just put [ IMG ] (without the spaces inbetween) at the beginning of the picture's URL and [ / IMG ] (once again, without the spaces) at the end of each URL.

Keep up the good job. Here's my attempt following Volpin's method. Okay, so I bought the helmet already made, so my effort was into the electronics.

I am currently working on my own helmet, the only problem i foresee is the electronics. Would anyone be able to do a write up of that process or atleast point me in a direction where i could learn how to wire everything up? Thanks in advance!
