Yeah, I was reading an interview with Corman the other day and he was talking about the profitability and sustainability of franchises and franchise match-ups. He said Syfy wanted him to make a movie called Sharktopus and he has. Now he says they want Megashark vs. Dinoshark and even Dinoshark vs. Sharktopus. He said he learned after Carnosaur 5 that the more sequels, the less profitability.

Theres 5 Carnosaurs!? My box set only came with 3 :cry

I looked and all I could find was 3, so maybe he was exaggerating... I remember specifically he mentioned Carnosaur 5, but I can't remember if I got the match-ups right. It seems Supergator and Dinocroc were in there somewhere too.

He did a really horrible movie called Raptor!!!!! Just re-using footage from the original 3 movies with entirely diffrent actors for non-dino scenes, maybe it counts as 4&5.

Yea I know way too much about cheesy horror movies.

The acting in the trailer at least looked better than the one on this morning "Sharks in Venice" the Baldwin in it looks to be a little baked...

Did anyone watch it? I had recorded all the cheesy shark/octopus movies before hand and got burnt out after the first couple. Though it's still waiting for me on the DVR.

I watched it, and I'm sure a few more brain cells got killed as a result:lol Worth a look, and of course pure cheese, so if you enjoy that type of thing your good to go. I personally recommend having a group of friends over and doing the Mystery Science Theater thing with it.
