Done / Completed DONE

Still working on box. A bit more patience and we'll ship and close this project too (finally!)

While we're waiting, I'd like to point out the great price on this piece compared to the one Prop Store listed today for an unfinished version cast from production molds. Looks like the price isn't listed now, but it was in the $1,100-1,400 range when I saw it this morning.

Guys box are still in progress! I know it is so much time, but please be patience and you'll be MORE than happy!
If you want the gun, bullet and certificate in meantime, I could ship it, but you'll have to pay double shipping cost. My advice is to be a bit patience and you'll see that prop Worth the wait! :)

Thanks for the update, mate... Personally I don't mind waiting. Certainly not if we get regular updates here, and waiting longer means higher quality ;-). Quality before speed!

I only pick one: "Good" ;-) (and Cheap if possible ;-) )

waiting longer means higher quality ;-)

Man, how I wish I had your optimism!

Experience has taught me when a project runs long, there's a problem.

Longer means, loss of interest.
Longer means, the project has taken a backseat to something else.
Longer means, eventual panic causing the project to be rushed out with less quality.

Are you sure you talking about a project made by me? I don't think ;)

No, when communication stops, then there is a problem.
Longer means, loss of interest.
I think this is only the case when communication gets worse, or stops totally (like I mention above).
Longer means, the project has taken a backseat to something else.
Here I agree. I think indeed this run got delayed because Sarednab and his team are doing quite a lot of other runs. This indeed can be questioned: why not finish runs in chronological order? Technical complexity can be an argument there. But I don't want to go into that discussion, because to me, time (up to a certain level) is no issue. I'm prepared to wait 2 years for a prop (not 5 years).

So that's the reason never to rush people. Whenever you rush a propmaker to deliver sooner, this will impact the quality. I don't want to make any compromise regarding quality. If higher quality can be achieved by waitinf for two extra months, I don't mind... Off course, all has to be within reasonable timeframes. A prop that is promised within 6 months, should not take 5 years to be finished. That's not reasonable.

I paid one year ago for this prop. So if this will be finished within the next few months, I think this is OK, no? There are quite some (great) props I own, where I waited over 2 years to get them finished. All of them I'm extremely happy with, because their quality is superb...

I'm not worried, I know this project is taking a little longer than expected but I'm confident we'll get a great quality prop at the end of the day & Pasquale always delivers :)

I put a deposit down (I think) two plus year's ago. I don't view that as unreasonable for a prop as complex and accurate as this. I think trust is a big thing because I trust this maker, I've bought dozens of his props and know he ALWAYS delivers. While I'd love it in my hands today, another few months wouldn't hurt me. Heck, even if it was 2018 I wouldn't be upset.

Right, and why would Sarednab decide on this project to not deliver? He's finished and delivered all of his runs, just go through his history of project runs. I'm happy to wait for it to be done properly.

Thanks guys. Last thing... i have to not deliver it but in meantime we have guns, bullets and certificates ready? ;)

Has it been 2 years already? Wow! I hate the wait, but it is what it is and as others have already said, Pasquale has always delivered.

I would like to make a request if it's not too much trouble. Instead of giving vague generic statements about the progress of the boxes, things like, "a little longer," "very soon," etc, you could give specific updates. Things like "very soon or almost there" lose there relevance after two years of not materializing.

It might be more helpful if you could tell us how many boxes have been completed so far and how many are left to make? And when another one gets completed, share that here, too. Those kind of updates give people something linear and tangible to hold onto.

Just a thought that might make the delays a little easier for some folks, myself included. Hope this project indeed does get wrapped up "very soon." ;-)

Cheers. :thumbsup

Sarednab, I think for future runs, put in a disclaimer: "Please don't sign up if you are not prepared to wait for the finished prop" ;-). Or I can "invest" in some of your runs, buy 10 copies of a certain prop, wait until they are delivered, and after that sell 8 of them again to people who were not prepared to wait, but at a price increase of 25%. In return, the buyer does not have to wait, but the item will be shipped whenever they pay. ;-) (And I can keep the 2 best copies ;-) )

Sarednab Can you give me the exact size of the box? Maybe how deep it is opend at 90 degrees too? Thanks.
