Done / Completed DONE

I honestly think Pasquale needs this feedback. But it really doesn't sound like we're going to change some folks' minds that 3-4 years is too long for any prop no matter the quality, especially if the projected time was much shorter; or Pasquale's mind that his props are so good they're worth whatever the wait is, and that his history should allow him almost indefinite leeway. All this piling on to CJ2319 is just derailing the thread. He expressed his opinion. Some disagree. I'm sure most folks would like the next two pages of this thread to be updates instead of continued debate. Just my opinion.

Spyhunter2k, you are right about the long waiting time. That's also what I said to CJ2319. But what CJ2319 added to that, is that Sarednab has a bad reputation here on the RPF, and he does not see how people should trust him on this run. For someone who has no business in this run, I think these are very bold and out of place remarks, that really need to be countered.

If CJ2319 would only have said: "Wow, 3 years is quite a long time to wait for a prop!" he would only got a answer like "Yeah, indeed it is, but we will get quality in the end and are prepared to wait for that." But instead of just that neutral remark, CJ2319 is just bashing one of the more valued propmakers here on the RPF. As a community I don't think we need to accept this.

But you are right that all this is derailing this thread. I think it's pretty clear that CJ2319 stands pretty much alone in his opinion that this run is not thrustworthy. So lets focus on the prop again, I'd say!

Also to be correct: I payed my deposit on 3/7/2015 and the full amount on 20/5/2016. So the waiting time is 2 years and a month, not 3 years...

Hola guys!
A little (big) update for you... I would explain the work process for the Box! Believe me, you can't find around someone that will made for you ALL BY HAND a wood box with this care and so accurate!
The first process done (after the first assembly part with tons of nails) is to work on the lock part! My partners Michelle works 2 hours for each box ONLY for the lock mechanism! It was made VERY slowly (cause if you do a wrong movement wood could destroy in the near part) with a custom cutter. After placed it we tested again... and again to be sure that all work perfect!
After this step all box was closed perfectly to avoid movement during next process and sand it, in the beginning on the outer parts and after on all remained side of the box. All hinge was placed with care!
After this, we fix by hand with stucco and after sand it again by hands.
After this process finally we could color all box ;)

Just for fun I would share a video with my partner that polish one box! It could seem easy but it isn't! ;)

Don't worry, TomVDJ. I'm sure they will be fine. Because always remember, "waiting longer means higher quality" :D:p

Yeah, but "stacking props" also means "chance the tower becomes unstable, starts tipping over, Sarednab trying to keep it upright, but lightly scratching, denting some cases in the process."

I just want to say: I'd much rather see pictures like when Rylo is posting a pic of his props: he is handling his props with gloves (litarally), so you know he takes extreme care of them. Posting pictures like this, or previous pictures where you see a box of parts all "thrown" together, is just bad PR. It makes a nice piture, but it gives your future customers the message: "Look, I'm messing around a bit with the props you all paid for".

Don't get me wrong: I love the props I got from Sarednab, but some of them arrived arrived somewhat damaged (The Hooks, Crosses of Coronado where the ***** figure came off, etc...). This is the only reason Sarednab is not on my "Rylo quality" level (yet), and that's a pity, because with a bit more care / quality control, Sarednab could be on the same level as Rylo... So then seeing pics like these, where you inflict some risk of getting them damaged, is... well, you know...

I am sure that Sarednab meticulously stacked the boxes for the picture, and I am sure he put them down carefully afterwards, you're worrying too much :p
