Done / Completed DONE

So I won't have it before comic con :/ Noooo, wanted to have it signed by Lloyd x)
You can print one of the pictures on the first page on photo paper, and have that signed by Lloyd? It would be much nicer if you could have the box signed, off course, but at least you have a signature linked to this prop, no? You can keep that signed picture along with the prop, afterwards.

I'm sure he has Roger rabbit pictures related on his stand, always does, but yeah the box would have been nice x) I don't think they'd let me in with the toon gun anyway XD

We are coming up on the 3 year mark on this run. I'd love to actually have my gun and box so I can celebrate that anniversary in "person".

I keep seeing this thread come up every few weeks and it's the reason I won't ever buy from this seller. I can't imagine paying that much money and having to wait years with constant promises of progress that never pan out.

Believe me mate, you'll have it soon. I know I already said this in past, but the main problem with this project is that we started to work in 4 people and remained in 2. Some people not finish his job, other made his job bad and we had to start all from beginning (like the fabric part for each box).
Woodman give us box only HALF done, so we doing the other half part hand by hand and believe me, to create a cutter and work with only mm space to fit a working mechanism to open/close with key isn't easy. But now we arrived at final part, we completed almost 15 box. I'll try to take pics in next week.

Believe me, I'm happy that buyer that think like you not buy from me. Nothing against you but I need buyer that believe in me in a project.
My longest run was Hook, that keep 4 years to come out. But if you see all my other thread I need some months of works, no more.
People that wait for hook paid 425$ for a prop that now value 1,500$. People that join Roger Rabbit's gun paid 600$ for a prop that value already now 2,500$!!! How I know this? Cause I already received offer like this for this prop.

I've actually seen versions of this prop sell for under $200. Maybe yours will be better quality, but who can say since you haven't delivered after 3 years. You say you want people to believe in you, but seeing your customers have to remind you about it every month or so for years doesn't inspire confidence. Every thread I've seen for your runs is full of people asking for updates and you giving excuses. Hopefully your customers are satisfied in the end, but I don't know why someone new would feel comfortable throwing so much money at a project given the history we see here.

Yes, I seen the one of 200$, but sorry, you can't compare these 2 things. Nothing against seller, but we are in another level of quality. Lucky this can be seen also in pics, but people that will receive it could confirm it. Wait for buyers feedback.
Are you sure that people not trust in me? Maybe you are new here, but you can ask around here, you can see section on seller feedback. I think you don't need other to understand if people trust in me and my work.

Remember that I'm ALWAYS here. When someone ask something I reply not over than 1 hour from his post!
Since you aren't in this run I don't know what you need to know more.

Do you want a curriculum of all props done in more than 10 years of work? Ok. I think with these you can understand why people can trust in my works

Pasquale has been here for a long time & I for one have 110% faith in him, if those who have paid in full like myself aren't complaining, who are you to air your grievances when you're not on the run???

Well, I know that Sarednab wants to make sure that he delivers a quality prop. When there is a problem, he deals with it the best he can as I believe he works with different artisans depending on the prop. (correct me if I am wrong :p). I have my full confidence in Sarednab and I know he will make this prop worth waiting for. People don't throw that kind of money to begin with if they do not trust the seller, like I said before, Sarednab ALWAYS delivers!!

I am only slightly annoyed that this has taken 2.5 years after I payed. But I have NEVER met someone who was dissatisfied with Sarednab's work.

And yeah, I want to keep this for a minute, but it's definitely a 50/50 when I know it's an investment. But yeah hurry up already lol, well...without compromising quality.

I have faith that I will get the prop I paid for. Sarednab came through with the Firefly Mal pistol I got from him like a year or 2 ago. I posted, not because I have lost faith, but to reinforce that this pistol and my $600 have not been forgotten, even as we circle the bend and head towards the 3 year anniversary of the original post of this thread. I do not mind waiting, but it does make it easier to wait by seeing updates, showing progress. And with that mentality, it seems, probably once a month, someone from that list on the first post will comment here, looking for any movement on this project. Yesterday, I just felt it was my turn to do so.

Really curious to see those props... Links or it didn't happen! ;).

I hope that you see that you are the only one here that is not confident that they will receive a high quality prop in the end, right? Indeed it takes a while, and Sarednab has explained the set-backs in this run, and is always responding when people ask for updates. Most of the time we even get responses within a few hours. Sometimes even with progress pics. I don't think you can claim that communication is bad, here.

Indeed it takes a long time, but for me (and many people here) we prefer a quality prop that takes a year longer to make, than a rushed up prop we get faster.

As far as I see, this is the "history" of Sarednabs work here:

1. He tackles props that nobody even attempted before (this one, the Hook, Book of Secrets, etc...).
2. Quality of what he delivers is top notch.
3. When asked for updates, these updates come very fast.
4. Some of the runs take quite a while, but in the end, a fantastic prop is deliverd.

Sorry, but if you ask me, this is no bad history at all. OK, I agree that point 4 can be worked on, but I don't mind waiting for a quality prop.

I suggest that you do not sign up anymore for props of Sarednab in the run itself, but just wait until the props are ready and try to buy a copy from someone who actually was in the initial run, and pay a quite a few hundreds of dollars more.

Aren't you the guy that recently sold your hook and explained how the one you bought was delivered broken and you had to pay him again for an unbroken one?

Look on ebay right now. There are different versions of this, from just bullets to a full box with everything. All of them cheaper than $600 and available now.

All I said in response to someone commenting about the length of this project was that the regular requests from buyers asking for updates about these very expensive projects and the constant delays has ensured that I'm not interested in buying from this seller. Three years? Three years ago I had no kids and a lot of free time. Now I have 2 kids and very little free time. So much can change in the time frame required here that how can you know you'll even want it when you get it?

Don't know where you read that, mate... There were several of the hooks dented during transport from the factory towards the buyers. Sarednab offered refunds to everybody who wanted this. Very few people (or even none) made use of that possibility as far as I remember. Indeed I bought an extra hook from Sarednab (even two), but not because my first one was "broken" and I "had" to pay for another one.

And now that I look back at it, I'm very glad I bought that extra hook, because I bought it for a few hundred dollars, and it was sold for €2.250!

You mean something like this? http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/Who-Fra...ica-Pistol-Bullets-Display-Case-/132054809373

Come on, mate! Are you serious? That's a nice attempt, but you can not even start to compare it to what we will be getting!

That's OK. You buy or don't buy from whoever you want, but the reason you give, is just rediculous. You said that Sarednab has a bad reputation, which is just not true...

Three years ago I was working for the company I still work for. I had the same girlfriend I have now. My two kids indeed were 3 years younger. Heck, my oldest son was not diagnosed with cancer yet back then. But I also had the same hobby I still have now: collecting high-quality props. And in all these years I'm collecting, I know that time is in some case needed to get a great prop. I also aquired some very unique pieces, and had to wait months or years for quite a lot of them. 3 years certainly is not the longest period I've waited for a prop...

So anyway, I think we can stop the blaming game, no? Not too many people here thing Sarednab has a bad reputation, and most (if not, all) people in the run are willing to be patient until the boxes arrive on our doorsteps...

I just made a single comment and now people keep tagging/quoting me to argue.
Because that "single comment" was totally out of place and incorrect. That's why people react on that...

Just so you know, you might not last very long on this forum, this is considered as price bashing. And it is against the rules here on the rpf... It's not like the run didn't start because everybody found it expensive, clearly, we all know what sarednab's props are like and this is the price we paid for. I have never seen a functional gun for sale and the details on the bullets are fabulous. Nothing like what we can find on ebay or other website. I'd suggest that you do not bash a seller on a limited run thread, especially since nobody ever complained about Pasquale's props or responses, he even proposed to the people to ship the guns as they are completed... Anyway, you should keep it to yourself next time... If you don't want to deal with Sarednab in the future, then it's your loss, more spots for us :p
