Proceed slowly but proceed, after july we'll back in full time on box
You can print one of the pictures on the first page on photo paper, and have that signed by Lloyd? It would be much nicer if you could have the box signed, off course, but at least you have a signature linked to this prop, no? You can keep that signed picture along with the prop, afterwards. So I won't have it before comic con :/ Noooo, wanted to have it signed by Lloyd x)

We are coming up on the 3 year mark on this run. I'd love to actually have my gun and box so I can celebrate that anniversary in "person".

I keep seeing this thread come up every few weeks and it's the reason I won't ever buy from this seller. I can't imagine paying that much money and having to wait years with constant promises of progress that never pan out.
People that join Roger Rabbit's gun paid 600$ for a prop that value already now 2,500$!!! How I know this? Cause I already received offer like this for this prop.
I've actually seen versions of this prop sell for under $200. Maybe yours will be better quality, but who can say since you haven't delivered after 3 years. You say you want people to believe in you, but seeing your customers have to remind you about it every month or so for years doesn't inspire confidence. Every thread I've seen for your runs is full of people asking for updates and you giving excuses. Hopefully your customers are satisfied in the end, but I don't know why someone new would feel comfortable throwing so much money at a project given the history we see here.
Yes, I seen the one of 200$, but sorry, you can't compare these 2 things. Nothing against seller, but we are in another level of quality. Lucky this can be seen also in pics, but people that will receive it could confirm it. Wait for buyers feedback.
Are you sure that people not trust in me? Maybe you are new here, but you can ask around here, you can see section on seller feedback. I think you don't need other to understand if people trust in me and my work.
Remember that I'm ALWAYS here. When someone ask something I reply not over than 1 hour from his post!
Since you aren't in this run I don't know what you need to know more.
Do you want a curriculum of all props done in more than 10 years of work? Ok. I think with these you can understand why people can trust in my works

Really curious to see those props... Links or it didn't happen!I've actually seen versions of this prop sell for under $200.
I hope that you see that you are the only one here that is not confident that they will receive a high quality prop in the end, right? Indeed it takes a while, and Sarednab has explained the set-backs in this run, and is always responding when people ask for updates. Most of the time we even get responses within a few hours. Sometimes even with progress pics. I don't think you can claim that communication is bad, here.Maybe yours will be better quality, but who can say since you haven't delivered after 3 years. Indeed it takes a long time, but for me (and many people here) we prefer a quality prop that takes a year longer to make, than a rushed up prop we get faster.
As far as I see, this is the "history" of Sarednabs work here:
1. He tackles props that nobody even attempted before (this one, the Hook, Book of Secrets, etc...).
2. Quality of what he delivers is top notch.
3. When asked for updates, these updates come very fast.
4. Some of the runs take quite a while, but in the end, a fantastic prop is deliverd.
Sorry, but if you ask me, this is no bad history at all. OK, I agree that point 4 can be worked on, but I don't mind waiting for a quality prop.
I suggest that you do not sign up anymore for props of Sarednab in the run itself, but just wait until the props are ready and try to buy a copy from someone who actually was in the initial run, and pay a quite a few hundreds of dollars more.
If you aren't on the list, why even post on this thread? Why can't you just ignore it?
Don't know where you read that, mate... There were several of the hooks dented during transport from the factory towards the buyers. Sarednab offered refunds to everybody who wanted this. Very few people (or even none) made use of that possibility as far as I remember. Indeed I bought an extra hook from Sarednab (even two), but not because my first one was "broken" and I "had" to pay for another one.Aren't you the guy that recently sold your hook and explained how the one you bought was delivered broken and you had to pay him again for an unbroken one?
You mean something like this? http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/Who-Fra...ica-Pistol-Bullets-Display-Case-/132054809373Look on ebay right now. There are different versions of this, from just bullets to a full box with everything. All of them cheaper than $600 and available now.
That's OK. You buy or don't buy from whoever you want, but the reason you give, is just rediculous. You said that Sarednab has a bad reputation, which is just not true...All I said in response to someone commenting about the length of this project was that the regular requests from buyers asking for updates about these very expensive projects and the constant delays has ensured that I'm not interested in buying from this seller.
Three years ago I was working for the company I still work for. I had the same girlfriend I have now. My two kids indeed were 3 years younger. Heck, my oldest son was not diagnosed with cancer yet back then. But I also had the same hobby I still have now: collecting high-quality props. And in all these years I'm collecting, I know that time is in some case needed to get a great prop. I also aquired some very unique pieces, and had to wait months or years for quite a lot of them. 3 years certainly is not the longest period I've waited for a prop...Three years? Three years ago I had no kids and a lot of free time. Now I have 2 kids and very little free time. So much can change in the time frame required here that how can you know you'll even want it when you get it?
Because that "single comment" was totally out of place and incorrect. That's why people react on that...I just made a single comment and now people keep tagging/quoting me to argue.
