thanks mate, I really appreciate your help :)) can you please tell me some more details about the acrilic emulsion (and primer) that you are using? Because I don't have the same prouct with the same name in my country :(

nice work, how do u get clean corner joins with foam?
I like papercraft but foam building seems much quicker and more comfortable

Looks great Ironmaided!

Re: maided's IM suits, mark 42 v2 finished now starting with my third mark 7 build

Thanks ^^ At this point I think that any water-based acrilic emulsion could work (correct me if I'm wrong ^^)

So your workflow is acrilic emulsion + acrilic primer + acrilic paint? with NO pva.......

acrylic emulsion (4 layers) then primer (any primer would do) then your desired spray paints :)

Re: maided's IM suits, mark 42 v2 finished now starting with my third mark 7 build

It's Foam Right? I ask, cuz you didnt say.

Re: maided's IM suits, mark 42 v2 finished now starting with my third mark 7 build

Thanks mate :)

I think I will try with an elastic polymer (commercial name: poligomma), compatible with acrylic primer and paints. It's kinda cheap if compared to all the other solutions I've found in my country...I hope it will work :)

yeah mate how did you paint it? :) I wish I could find eva at a decent price -.-" instead of crappy gym mats -.-"

Have you tried home depot? They have an 8 pack of 2'x2'x.5" for $17 here in the states.

ehm...sorry for bothering :) can you post a pic of the scratch patterns you used to build your suite? This would help me a looooot in how to figure how to assemble mine :)

It took me 15 minutes to make the shins after having seen your patterns :) they fit like a glove now :)
