I have finished with the Steamgun, just wanted to take the project all the way to the end. Sure I could keep messing with it but it's time to walk away or else I will never finish it.

SWEET--I think I've got one of those water guns; I like the design, but never thought of steampunking it, good call.

Just a thought, if you wanted to add a little extra flair, what about cutting off the little "hose" connecting the tank to the frame, and use real hose or copper tubing in it's place?

I like the leather inserts too--can't wait to see how you finish it up :)

I was thinking about doing that just have not found the right type of hose yet. I am trying to learn a few new skills on this gun. I am no expert at drilling, filling , sanding or painting so I just tossed myself into the deep end on this project and we will see how it goes :)

I'm not sure why there's been such a surge in steampunk-inspired work around here lately, but I just want to say that I hope it continues for a long, long time. :D

Nice work.

could you tell me where you got said water gun, i relaly want to get one myself.

Well seeing all the sexy clockwork pistols and that Steampunk tricorder just really got me going. I'm actually pretty shy about posting my work since the quality is so high here.

I am just re-learning some old skills here so it's not going to be perfect anytime soon ( if ever ).
I figure I won't get any better unless I take the leap and offer some stuff for peer review.

It was during the summer months and it was in a multi-pack. If this project gets to casting stage I can hook you up but it's going to entail me re-learning a few things so it's going to take time.

Nice. I really like the paint job you did on it. Looks like something Artemis Gordon would come up with.

WOW....truly kind words, just hope you mean the series and not the movie :lol

Thank you very much

Of course. I think we all pretty much pretend that the movie never happened. :lol
