Awesome stuff man! What did you use to keep the entire suit standing up?

Thanks! I built a duct tape dummy of myself and made a pvc pipe skeleton on the inside. It's all one piece, with no arms, but here is a link to my build, with explanations on how to make it all come apart(very handy!)

I made the helmet out of the same type of foam, my first foam template build. It gets difficult if your a beginner that's for sure. Nice work.

Most definitely! I teach a seminar on pep, and I ALWAYS suggest starting with something simple like a codpiece or handplate until you have your scaling technique down. Nothing worse than putting effort into a helmet only to find it doesn't fit!

Whew! Soooooo much wood filler! Why, you ask? Well, I tried an experiment. I hoped that expandable caulking foam might make a good coating, easy to sand, prime, paint, etc. Bottom line is: it sands, but takes a while, and the finished texture is kinda velvet-like. Hence, the wood filler. So, busy sanding, and doing lots of fiddley bits: magnetic closures to the utility belt pouches, etc. Got just under two weeks to finish!

Rustoleum hammered finish in pewter. I will be posting finished pics when it's done.
