Doing a Kylo Ren Cosplay. Black Series helmet modifications. Need a bit of info/help

Hello everyone. Got my Black Series Kylo Ren Helmet, and of course, the voice changer sucks. I knew this before getting it, because I planned to install a new voice changer altogether. What I'm thinking of buying is this:

Philmore 80-105 Voice Changer Kit - Philmore-Datak 80-105 Voice Changer Kit

But I'm not sure of speakers. I also considered getting a Plecter Labs Voice Core 2.0 but if there are cheaper options, that would be more up my alley. My main goal is to make it sound like the cross between a Storm Trooper and Kylo Ren; Not too much bass, more about the general volume amplification. Any leads or recommendations?

I used a Velleman MK171 in my build which looks pretty similar to that one. It has vibrato and robot options as well as pitch up / down.

I used the speaker that came with the black series. The voice changer itself isn't great but the speaker isn't too bad. With the Velleman I didn't need an amp, the output was loud enough through the default speaker.
