Man! this picture is just SCREAMING that Vader just opened a fresh can of Whoop Ass!!

What a great thread man, I enjoyed reading through. I am mostly a batman prop maker, but I have always loved Vader and he is my first complete display, here is a pic of mine.

I noticed Prowse/Vader is a bit bigger in ROTJ than he was in Empire. I don't know if it was working out or cheeseburgers as it's hard to tell in the suit but I always noticed it. It looks like you actually captured that in your ROTJ mannequin.

Is that correct because it sure looks like it?????

Again and as always I hate you. :lol:lol

Thanks for bumping this post up, yes years ago we had very little information to work from but it didn't put us off, maybe made us much more keen to make Star Wars stuff, now, in my case , aiming for the perfect reproduction has spoilt the fun a bit, oh to be a child again.

man, this thread brings memories... way back to '95 'for me that is)

my first darth vader helmet I created from scratch...
parts of "dark sunglasses", cardboard, polyesterputty, an old german warhelmet... and a lot of inspiration....
and Only 1 small pic to compare, a card from the starwars CCG...
too bad I never did take photograps back then...
where are those days...

and now with Gino's vaders, the circle is complete... how much more starwars can you get... my vader costume I now have is still miles away from yours...

unbelievable, everytime I look at your pics... superb...speechles I become...

GINO=GOD (of darth vaders)

cheers, Clint

In regards to Gino, To borrow a classic Val Kilmer line:
