Done / Completed Doctor Who Machined Classic Sonic Kits/Completed Units

The run will still go on, it just makes things harder for me because I'll have to reorganize my order with the shop to take the flakes into account. Seeing as how I'm already paying for part of the run out of my own pocket, less flakes would mean a smaller hole for me.
Anyway, for those of you that have already made the drop, you don't need to worry about the run being canceled, unless I get run over by a car or something. :D

Wanted to ask two more quick questions if possible, one does it still look like it will be possible to add sound either by swapping from the CO toy or other means? And for the Pertwee version is the lower handle the same as the other two? Was wondering about the angled cutout that some have and some don't, was curious if there was any variation? Thanks! :)

Is it possible for me to add an individual baker halo assembly to my order and does that still cost $20??

Yes, it will be possible, but you must not add the stop spacer for the extension rod. I added this into my design in order to make the screwdriver sturdier, but it seems to either have fallen off on the prop, as the entire halo was once pulled out. In kit form, the builder can choose not to add this piece and thus make the halo extend and be replaceable, or they can build it with the spacer, sacrificing the removable function for a sturdier prop.

Yes, that will be possible. I am working on a 3D printed Chassis that will be available on Shapeways.com. Once the CO toy has been gutted, its electronics will fit perfectly inside. I will be showing more of this when I get the print in. The only things that will need to be changed with my kit are the central core and the upper grip. A magnet and reed switch will be needed for the activation. Basic soldering skills will also be required. I am considering offering build up sound modules, but I'm going to get the initial build functional first.

With that, I’ll be closing the books soon on this Classic Sonic screwdriver kit run. The window for the run will close at the end of this week so that those who have paid can get their screwdrivers ASAP. Make sure to PM me for questions if you have any. I may be able to arrange payment plans or something that might help for those who are either low on funds right now, or are on the fence.

More to come! :D

Closing up the list on Sunday! For all of you who are still want in, get your payments in soon!

Do you happen to have a photo of the sound module from the CO sonic? I pulled mine out but a few contacts got pulled apart and I cant get them back in the right spots to get it working again, so I need some kind of reference.

Now I'm just hoping you do these again in the future and possibly look into the War Doctor's version. :) Even though I have the technically more SA toy version...these metal ones just look awesome! Can't wait to have them in hand!
