The paint on those looks fantastic[/QUOTE
Thanks Jeepychan
heyy how did you make the joint between the hands and the lower forearm ?
I just wraped piece of foam around wrist for snug fit, put some velcro to have it removable, dremeled lines into foam, plastic dipped and painted. Pretty simple but makes it flow together better. If u guys like that just wait till u guys see what im workin on for inner elbow. and ofcourse I'll explain how i did it. Thats why I made this thread to show u guys what a foam costume can really look like so any way I can help dnt hesitate to ask![]()
hey i sooo like how you coat the foam !!
i wanted to know do you just put the bondo and fiberglass resin mixed 50/50 directly on the foam or do you seal it with something else before ?
lol thanks TKSteve. Rondo is light weight bondo body filler mixed with fiberglass resin, mixed 50/50 so yea u can get that stuff at any local auto parts store
Is there somewhere you can get rondo in the uk? if not, is there a way to make it yourself?
how many coat of rondo do you apply and do you prime it before paint ?
after mixing the fiberglass resin and the bondo do we need to apply it immediatly ? or it takes some time to become unuseanble ?

Looks great mate, the things you can do with foam now is incredible. Love the paint work as well.
MattcorneIM - You dont buy Rondo you make it, its a mixture of body filler and fiberglass resin. Just go to fast parts or halfords and pick up both, mix them together 50/50 and add a spot of hardner.
its fiberglass resin and bondo mixed 50/50![]()
Lookin' Good! Can't wait to see this done? Keep Building!....
