Yea I do solder lines. I find it gives more detail and Im pretty good at engraving and reminds me of that.

Theres different tips to do different lines like real thin to real thick. Its not just random lines I look at lots and lots of reference photos, draw in lines then solder.

I can understand how tiresome it gets answering the same questions over and over. Please read the thread or at least search for the answer to your questions before you ask. Chances are, by now, you are not the first person that has asked whatever question you are thinking about.

The sad thing is that this post probably wont help because the offenders won't read it.

doc, with all the great information you're sharing, you could save time by updating your signature as below. And somebody will still ask. :D

The foam is from HobbyLobby: 2, 3, and 5mm.

Paint is Duplicolor.

Here are the steps:

1. heatseal with heatgun
2. 1 coat watered down elmers
3. 2 light coat modpodge
4. 1 coat bulldog adhesion promoter
5. primer
6. paint
7. clearcoat and put bulldog adhesion promoter after to give it more flex

Got a suprise visit from my bro today and my little nephew loved the Ironman props I made and making and wanted an Ironpatriot. Never made one but jackies files rock and made him one. Did it kinda fast but if I make another one its gonna be awesome now since I got a feel for it. Hope ya'll like it and thanks jackie for your awesome files:D
