DL-44, Metal heat sink and greebles. help needed to find.

Hello everyone,

I've spent a few hours on google this morning trying to source a metal heat sink for my DL-44 build, but I'm coming up blank. I see Dark energy do one but they are out of stock at the moment.

I hope someone may be able to help.

It looks like DEC has a number of kits left with the aluminum grill:

If you just want the grill shoot Dave and email and see if he has an extra one lying around he will sell you.

Field Marshal (oddly enough) doesn't seem to sell a metal grill, just the plastic cylinders to make your own 3-piece grill like the screen-used prop:

I'm coincidentally working on an ANH dl-44 now (thanks bradberry) and I've never had any metal greebles. I plan on putting some magnets under my front sight greebles if the denix and bull barrel are magnetic. if not.. E6000 being silicone would be my best bet
