Thanks!Amazing work!! You did a great job on filling/sanding/painting don't see any wood etc that you were worried about.
I love the weapons in this movie. Too bad kits aren't available.
I'd love one these too. LOL

Great work! Maybe someone could help you with the molding to produce a kit? The eBay prices for the Weta ones are sky high, which reflects the demand for these. I'd be in for one for sure. From one noob to another seems pretty straightforward to split a mold straight down the long axis... easy to pull too. Cylinders would be moulded separately of course.
Amazing work! :cool
Any plans for other D9 guns?
This looks absolutely stunning! Great work, compliments! The base color blocking on the gun is done. I'll have to dull the colors with some glass wool.
I had some problems with masking tape pulling the white coat along with spray filler from the wood.
Thanks!
For anyone interested in my finishing process: I sprayed the parts with acrylic spray filler thinned with nitro thinner, sanded it with 160 and 240 grit sandpaper, sprayed it again and sanded with 240 paper and with 500 grit paper on the flatter and visible areas.
