District 9 "Arc Gun

That shot is not in the film, but the gun is used by Christopher when they make their assault on the MNU building. Its a really nasty machine gun, but then, ALL the alien weapons are pretty nasty:rolleyes

looks like a different gun altogether. the one Christopher uses during the assault is white and orange with a v shaped arrangement of "electrodes" along the top.

Heres a couple of shots of that other gun. apologies for the poor quality
 
I would love all these guns, but my pockets are not deep enough to hold all the money I would need to buy them (and my place is not big enough to store them all either :( )

If you guys check out that clip again and look at the white gun in the background while they are messing with the "satellite dish" gun... it's like a little alien MP5... that's one I'd like to tackle! And it looks suprisingly easier than some of the other weapons.

Huh, anyone else notice that some of the details are from some kind of small engine? I see at least a choke plate, crank case, cylinder head, air filter cover, and maybe a clutch housing from a string trimmer or chainsaw or something similar.


Finally got to see the movie, and loved it. Who's building the first mech suit?:love
