Disneys edge Rey Legacy lightsaber accuracy.

Hi all

Quick question, how accurate is the Disney Edge Legacy lightsaber to the ESB version?? Looking at the attached item.

The picture that you've got there looks to be the Lenovo VR graflex controller, but on the subject of the Graflex Legacy lightsaber, its a decent representation of the TFA/TLJ Graflex. It has the glass eye in place of the 2nd red button, but other than that its not far off the looks of an ESB saber. That being said, proportions are going to be offf from the orginal prop/props, as all of the Legacy hilts are.

CB Studios, bang on my friend and thanks for identifying it for me. I've found a few dirt cheap so I plan on making a Luke ANH and an Anakin ROTS with them. I'll be tearing one apart to see how it is all assembled.

Sorry to revive an old thread, I'm trying to go down the same path. I've been trying to figure out for to remove the glass eye. I doubt it's actually screwed on and probably glued on at this point. Might just Dremel it out

The MR Anakin hilt from 2005 has a screw under the brass eye. I had to prise up the eye that covered it and unscrew to remove the blade holder section when I converted it. The screw had a washer, and after removal, the whole holder bit fell out easily. This might have a similar system?

I'll try to get some close up pics tonight when get home from work so you guys can see. The "bulge" on the Graflex under the red button and glass eye seem like are a separate piece,

Looks similar. My guess is that you pop off the glass bit which is just glued, and there's a screw underneath. Only issue is is might ruin the glass bit a little. I wonder if a domed glass cabochon would fit? You can get them different sizes.
