Disney + | She-Hulk

Maybe leave the legal critique for lawyers to comment on.
Because you think the show is is providing competent legal advice?!? XD

The only Conflict of Interest is to hold The Firm harmless if Abomination lost the case and wanted to sue them because he felt Jen did not provide competent representaion or sabotaged his case to keep him locked up.

Leapfrog 's is the same, hold the Firm harmless even if Leapfrog thinks Jen was incompetent or intentionally sabotaged his case.

So, I happen to have a friend who is a constitutional law attorney and has best selling books on the lists right now about a case he took to the federal appellate circuit who enjoys the heck out of this show, so stop pretending your dislike is because it's somehow providing bad legal advice to the audience. It's a freaking TV show. No one in their right mind watched LA Law or Allie McBeal and thought they were getting solid legal advice.

Movies and shows don't need to have every single detail in order to be enjoyable. I'm willing to bet all of us like something thats obviously way off in terms of career specific details (or historical inaccuracies or unrealistic over the top fight sequences, etc.)

I feel like some of the criticisms of this series are reaching. It's like a few particular issues color the perception of it and some are looking for any further justification that goes beyond those issues in order to dislike it/poke more holes. Again this is not an endorsement but call things for what they are.

I absolutely loved the finale! And the more confused and mind-blown I got the more I loved it. The nearest that an MCU storyline has ever got to the meta-levels of something like 'Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe'. It shouldn't have worked at all - and I'm 100% sure that for certain people it won't have - but for me it absolutely nailed the tone and (more importantly) the capabilities of this show. I thought it was brilliant.

Oh... and I really hope
Kevin was lying when he said no to Jen on the big screen
!

Except people are claiming the show's legal inaccuracies are acceptable only to dismiss them when they aren't. Court dramas, like any other show, need to have *some* attachment to reality for people to relate. If someone on General Hospital had their "ears amputated" because of a simple appendicitis, you dont have to be a surgeon to know that is wrong.

Conflict of Interest, is extremely basic to understand. Waivers, same thing. The show uses them incorectly...

And now the PUNCHLINE

...and the show even PROVES MY POINT. The designer tears up her gala outfit after the court case because the waiver offers Jen ZERO PROTECTION from the designer dropping her as a client.

Only *after* Jen rescues him, does he change his mind and make the dress.

Yet you don't seem to understand them, and are pontificating as if you do.

the waiver offers Jen ZERO PROTECTION from the designer dropping her as a client.
Case in point. That's not what a COI waiver does.

Except She-Hulk's boss uses the waiver as a defense to claim that her representation isn't an issue for her to go after the clothes designer. And then the show actually *HAS* the consequence she was trying to avoid happen.

So, there you go, lying again.

Really sad, the only way you can make a point is by lying, the pontificating is all yours. I established my opinion throughout this thread, yours changes with whatever you think will work.

So, did this episode just tell us that everything in this make-believe universe, is make-believe? That all of the MCU characters are actors, and that’s its superheroes don’t really exist?

Holy crap!! I LOVED that last episode.

I’d read that it was quite different, so I knew it wasn’t going to be what I expected…but that was just fantastic.

I wanted to give a quick nod to the supporting cast in this series. They were all just great. I really enjoyed how well those characters were portrayed.

I really liked this season of this show, and I hope we get more of it.
