Personally, I'd love to see a show/movie about Boba Fett, or the Karen Traviss series of Republic Commando. But please, don't turn it into a kid friendly, "and what did we learn today" show like they did with the Clone Wars 3D animated show.
Folks have been angry with him for a long time. I don't think he honestly realized that a simple BR release of the originals would have shut a lot of them up.
Don't like the PT? Fine, ignore it. Don't like the SE OT? Fine, ignore it.
He made it so that people who wanted to ignore it couldn't without going back to their old and much lower resolution copies.
And I'll also say that I'm happy that GL will still be involved in Star Wars. As much as people don't like certain aspects of what he's done we wouldn't have any of it without him.

Two days ago I didn't care if I watched Star Wars again for a while, I've been kinda burnt out on the flicks for a bit. But now I am PSYCHED to rewatch them. WTF is wrong with me? One press release and I'm back on the bandwagon like a bad case of Patty Hearst (stockholm) syndrome.
Sure they will. There's a huge market out there for a release of the originals, now that the artist is out of the picture there's nothing preventing them from capitalizing on that.

I will rpurchase the blu-rays if they are released unaltered even though I own the altered onse
I said long ago that if they released the originals on BR as a set with NO special features at all and in a cardboard box I'd still wait in line to pay $150 for it.
