Discounted Sterling airsoft beta project E11 conversion

Numrich gun parts has a sterling parts kit as well as apex gun parts. Apex is a little cheaper but check your state laws about parts kits. Can't get them here in Jersey

Ok more done on the Cylinders today. A little trimming of wires and some paint and done.

More detail work on the tubes...got everything glued down..capacitors now have the little wires in the front. I'm calling it done. Not screen accurate but I feel it fits the part. Mounted on the blaster with rare earth magnets.

Enjoying watching this as I may do the same with my airsoft someday!

Quick note, you can buy the short mag used on the E-11 version of the airsoft, if anyone else wants to save the time and effort of cutting down the full mag. ;)

Hi all
The Conversion is complete! Last thing to do was add the t track. Now it's not traditional t track. I bought sliding screen track from Lowe's. 4$ for 8 feet. I used it because it was cheap and it looked good on my last sterling. The only problem I had was getting the bend in the plastic near the hop up area. It's very shallow there. Also the holes are smaller than a traditional sterling. The Scope is resin but it's a very detailed and clean copy was painted already. The Hengstler is also resin. I darkened up the bolt area. The bright aluminum there didn't look right to me. Did a light weathering with a chrome marker pen. Rubbed the silver in certain areas and ran it along the edge in other areas. I left it functional as a airsoft gun. Very happy with how this turned out.
