Different AT-AT models?

Hi,

I'm new here, just found out about this site... And well here I am with my first question!

I'm a big fan of the Star Wars AT-AT walker and wan't one to build myself... But the only kit I can find is the Revell one...

Is there anyone who knows a bit more detailed and bigger kit for the AT-AT?

There is a MPC AT-AT which i believe is the same scale (someone correct me if I am wrong) and then there is a SMT/blue moon 1/48 scale model which is quite large. I don't know of any others.

Ok there's the mpc(small) then the revell and the SMT then there's the At at Ron ( two feet in size .

Can't seem to find the SMT and RON for sale... Only finished projects... So if anyone finds a link to one for sale of these two! Would be great!

Problem with the Ron and SMT kits are, well, there not very accurate at all, very idealised, but then, a giant leap over the AMT TBH.
There is another GK of the ATAT due sometime this year i hear, not Studio scale, but a very good representative, but im not sure how much info is to appear on public forums though, due to all that licensing nonsense.

I've seen Mikes build and it is a real beauty. I have the SMT kit myself,just have'nt gotten around to building it or the SMT Probe droid.Both were very expensive to acquire. I'd hope to see a more acurate At-At myself. Its doesn't have to be a 42" long kit, but the smaller studio scale would be just fine. I think with some tweaking and additional "corrected" kit bashing the SMT At-At can look pretty awesome.I've seen some really incredible builds w/mods.

A modeller on another forum has made an accurizing kit for the Revell AT-AT which incudes foot apds and moving toes.

Another modeler here also made a head for this kit and is likely to be available soon as well.
