If they even do anything again, I don't want them to leave TOS yet, once they do, for sure they would never turn back. A shuttlecraft or D7 would be much easier to do I'm sure and cheaper. Then I'm happy for them to move on. If it's Trek 1966-2005 I'll buy anything they make. Probably two!

Now that you have seen it close up ....what do you now think of the lights and scale of windows??. You originally said they were too bright. When I photograph it with my room lights off it looks brighter in the photo (of course) but looks better to my naked eyes with the room lights on......the nacelle caps as many have mentioned are too red/ orange and i don't seen any amber/orange lights in there ....

The lights…
They are well done! They used warm white LEDs to get the original effect of incandescent lighting used on the original. The brightness of the lights is to appeal to the collector to look at in the dark and enjoy on their desk/ shelf.
Although not the same effect as my engine/ power domes, I like the nacelle cap effect.
For a mass produced replica, it’s a fantastic piece! I also love the hull color! It’s correct! Not that light grey rattle can nonsense pushed by the YOUTUBE “ experts” that everyone seems to follow without researching info themselves.

Put a spare Round2 1/350 saucer with lines in the die-cast saucer’s place?
That won’t need the stand certainly.
Just eyeballing it…the nacelle support pylons are proportionally mounted farther back along the secondary hull than on the AMT 1/650 right?
Don't know about the AMT. But looking at the 11 foot model they look like they are in the correct position....or at least extremely close...

I do not have the skills, I have tried to acquire them. I can not even paint the different colors to say nothing of the EVIL Aztec pattern!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think we will see it for a very long time. Anyhow Diamond select made a very nice smaller version. Can be easily modified to be fully lit....

I confess i too, as excited as I am about my 1701, would LITERALLY **** my tin foil space suit if they made a refit, and would gladly sell my children on ebay, if needed, to take it's eighth-inch con.
