Die Cast Lighted 1/350th TOS Enterprise (TOMY crowd funded)

Yeah, the members here are probably less than 1% of total backers.
Yeah, which is why I went looking for evidence elsewhere. Nada. And we had 2 people - in Australia no less - who probably make up an even smaller percentage of backers, post here - even before they had them in hand... so one would think that we would see at least one posting after 3 days if shipping had actually begun. And we have confirmation above that it has not. If one wants the expectation to be "fall 2023" or "October 2023" then one does not provide a specific date. Which is why most Prop companies ( which Tomy is not) don't commit to anything better than a 30 day window. Yes I am happier with 3 days late than never, but there really is no reason for it. When I have purchased similar things (high end toys - not "props" ) from overseas, the date they start to ship is 1-3 days after the container ship arrives. The resellers understand you have been waiting a long time, and don't want to be the weak link in the chain, so they are off the docks and in shippers hands as fast as they can manage it. I have often seen shipping labels created days in advance, often with a note saying "please be patient, nothing is shipping right now, but we are trying to be as ready as possible when we get the product in our hands" And you can see that is exactly what happened with resellers in Australia. Having them on"lockdown" in a warehouse , and not doing any prep work to get them out the door... with a group of people who already have a bit of a bad taste in their mouth? You would think they would be trying to salvage repuation and providing as positive an experience as possible.

Your prayers are answered my friend!

Though this is a 5 foot model! :)

Almost everything takes on some type of wear after awhile. This one should weather the passage of time ok. Lighting can be replaced.

I doubt they will ever go down this road again.
They may not! They were also supposed to be producing a line of smaller diecast ship, maybe a little bigger than the Eaglemoss ships. Haven't heard anything more on that either.

We have your ships!!!

Our enterprise may not be perfect but I am glad I don’t have to purchase a Master Replicas enterprise anymore! Prices are through the roof!!!

Man should have taken out a loan back then for the MR instead of school! Lol : )

In the meantime here is another video from down under!!!! LOL Trevor just loves showing off his ship!!!

If they delivered to Aussie land then we have nothing to worry about people we will get out ships!!! : )

He clearly understands it's not the size of your ship that matters, it's the way you show it off!

The MF from MR might be the most difficult to resolve since it's major surgery on the base itselfo_O:eek:
