has anyone been keeping tabs on how many units a day it's been averaging since the opening weekend? eyeballing it's felt like 200 to 300 a day roughly? if it maintains THAT pace it'll hit.... uhhhhh.....spock get your bony ass in here!

Funding ends in 923 hours and 24 minutes, Captain. If we go by the book, and assume an average of 250 units per day, that is 10.4166666667 per hour, and would put the final tally at 9,827 units beyond what have previously sold, which yields 13,296.

Amazing how well the TOS is selling now. Saw one that went for 3 grand a week ago. So many people missed out on the TOS. With prices entering MR price territory now, people are paying a mighty hefty price for some TOS love!

I was thinking if these TOMY Star Trek releases go well, people who want a full collection will be fighting over the TOS Enterprise since that will likely have the least number produced. Even at $2,500-$3,000 I'm not interested in selling my extra copy.

Me neither, it would have to get closer to 10K for me to consider selling it, and even then I doubt I would. The only no-hesitation value would be 50k+, which will never happen.

Also the rate of sales of the Refit will slow to a crawl soon, now that a lot of people are aware of it and have placed their orders. The TOS got a big boost right at the end after it crossed the sales threshold — suddenly people didn't see it as a risk and piled on, whereas before sales had trickled through for weeks.

Also I can live with a saucer support if it's as minimalist as the one they have on the prototype refit. I hate it as much as anyone, but even the filming models weren't made of metal the way this thing is, and that's a crazy amount of weight to hold.

I found my third one. I am getting it ready for my customer who is coming to pick it up. I had no memory of a third one and had only two together.. They are junk, so I did not pay it much attention, but I found the third one. I am actually using a micromachines TOS shuttlecraft that looks much better, and I included it with the sale.

Gotta make room in the room and the wallet for the Refit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet it will be fine without the saucer supports used. I think they are there out of caution and CYA.
