Did the MR Han ANH EE ever sell out?

I still want one myself, bit if these things are just lying in a MR warehouse then I'm sure I'll be able to snag one later for a much cheaper price

If memory serves, the original LE took a while to sell out as well. I know I wasn't able to get mine for a good chunk of time, and I got a pretty decent number (460) considering the elapsed time.
The first has too much sentimental value for me to get rid of in order to get the EE. May not be as 'accurate' but at least it is weathered and does have a working trigger mechanism.

Still for sale and so much for available for CE members only as have seen advertised on Forbidden planet website here in the UK for less than MR are advertising, the only reason I purchased the Collectors society membership was to buy this ah well, I thought it would sell out fast as well.

Thanks for the link. I wonder how accurate their street date of Oct 20th is? I know MR's street dates are always really shakey, just wondering if maybe that's a target date they might actually be shooting for (subject to change as always).

Okay, I was at the wrong web site, but looking at the link that you posted, they have the price listed as $827 U.S. Dollars (449.99 GBP)... the price on the MR web site has it for $649 U.S. Dollars. So Forbidden Planet is selling it for more than the MR price (without the shipping).
It would be my guess they have a person or persons in the U.S. buy it from MR and ship it to the UK for much less than the expensive shipping that MR charges.
Again, just a guess on my part.

Quite frankly, with the economic outlook, I expect sales on items like this are going to drop and MR is going to have a harder time selling editions out quickly. I expect this one will sell out but not as quickly as some may expected.
You have gas prices on the rise, and with world tension rising, it is sure to have an impact on luxury items such as these high end collectables. Its one of the factors MR is going to have to deal wtih, some thing I had noted a few months ago.
