Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

Also since one of the cleavers I sold was to Brian Bero, I asked him if there was anyway he could help us out with a full pic of the new season 7/8 cleaver :D

Cool so you will be getting the 6.5" cleaver?
Thanks for findin the bread knife. These are for a buddy of mine who wants to do a set now. I've been tryin to get a hold of pinder to see if he will cut a spatula for me but haven't heard back yet, I couldn't do it earlier this year.

Hahah. Fixed. Gotta love auto correct on these phones.
Fingers crossed Bero will show the handle to that new giant knife. Then all of them can be made

Rbeato And khan, the most recent invoice directly through paypal is the only one you need to respond to. Turns out the other ones were invalid because of the way ebay was processing them. And yeah this is definitely the 6.5" heavier cleaver dex used, not the smaller lighter one.

As for the season 7/8 cleaver Hes going to check his computer to see if he has any shots of the full blade and handle, not hidden like it is in the pic of the new kill tools. If he doesnt find one there, he says that he'll be back to his fx trailer in the second week of january. :D

I still feel special I found the one and only small bone saw :cool

@Darkpassenger I just moved into my new house and will be working on some stuff for you in the coming weeks.I'm knee deep in house crap at the moment :unsure.

I had a few made up but was never able to get them finished because my friend move away. I also came upon 2 issues that I need to see if a machine shop can fix. 1 is the slit in the handle and if that can be done which I'm sure it can. And 2 is how to get the blade to not swing down from the one screw it has towards the back. It seems like to me that it won't stay in place. I will get around to going to a local shop. Other issue is getting the handles chromed to look correct which might be costly.

this was a unfinished trial run with the handle being aluminum not stainless steel, the handle never got milled so it does not taper towards the front. So to get these made with the right materials, machine work and handle chroming they will be rather costly I imagine.

That looks really good RB. It needs to get done for a run, no matter what the cost is. Having owned it in hand, that replica is a damn near close match and probably the best we'll get at this point.

No problem at all Mike. You're doing me a favor and I appreciate it immensely. Enjoy the new house and all the house crap that goes with it :thumbsup

I'll talk to my friend who owns a water jet to see if he will hook me up cut the handles and blades for next to nothing, then I'll get some quotes from some local shops to see if they can do the right cuts, (to keep the blade in place) milling, and chroming. I think the handles will need this finish to look proper.

Rbeato, that all sounds like its gonna be sick! I definitely want one when it comes to fruition.

Khan, glad to hear it man, Ill have them out just after the 1st!
