Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

That's awesome! The only person I've ever seen was Dog the Bounty Hunter, and he was being bugged already so I didn't say hi...

What did Mr. McClane do to get banned?

That is freaking amazing!!!! I would have panicked and froze if he looked at me.
Having lived in southern California my entire life, I've seen a lot of celebrities (mostly actors) and I've realized I don't get "starstruck". Unless the circumstances allow for it, say, at a convention or other gathering, I don't approach them because a) I don't want to bother them, and b) I generally can't think of anything I'd have to say that would interest them (aside from the usual "I'm a big fan"). In Mr. Hall's case, I would like to have had an opportunity to at least tell him how much I've enjoyed Six Feet Under and Dexter, but it didn't work out that way.

Well, after looking at the Season 6 trailer, it looks like there is another custom piece in the Kill Bag to stay. I first noticed this knife in Season 5, when Dexter is about to kill the rapist who lives under the bridge and discovers his ankle bracelet. (I can't screen cap Season 5 yet, sorry). It is a hooked style knife.

From the Season 6 trailer, at the top of the Kill Bag.

Also, this is from the YouTube video (The blood, the bodies, and the killing tools) with the prop master. You can see it in the background hanging on the wall. I guess they had the knife for years, but never decided to use it?

Sadly, this knife seems to be another custom made by Brian Bero. Here is a screen shot of the page he has on his website.

Looks like he made all the kill knives, including the "Lumen Knife" and the one that ends up in someone's foot. I have emailed him asking if he'll sell a custom Kill Knife or the plans on it, and he can't sell them because they are under license and he has no real plans, just a rough sketch that he worked off of. He said no Kill Knife (of the main one Dex uses) is the same because they are milled differently. Might be why it looks different in every screenshot.

woah good work darkpassenger.. now we need one more lol

Yeah, but I really don't think this one is a huge deal. We never see it until Season 5, and he doesn't even use it.

This is another custom knife, so we would have to find someone **Cough DREWSMITH Cough** to make a small run of them.

I will be buying Season 5 when it comes out on DVD and looking for screencaps of this knife. If anyone can screencap it now, it is the episode where Lumen is looking to shoot the sex offender under the bridge. Dexter has him on his table and sees the ankle bracelet. I don't think we see the knife again in the rest of the season, but I could be wrong.

Hey there Guys. I'm a new member of the RPF (even though I've been looking at this thread (among others) for a few months now). Some of you guys have some really amazing collections. I've been debating putting together a kill bag myself, and was wondering what ever happened with the main kill knife? Are you guys having them custom made? I'd absolutely love to be added to the wait list for one of these if at all possible.

P.S. What did you use to reshape the Global spatula? Did you guys just use a grinding wheel or reshape it with files? Thanks in advance for your advice.

That's more or less what I was thinking but wanted to check with you guys to make sure. I don't really do much metal work, but am quite at home in my wood shop. And since it was a little out of my normal element..... Well, you get the picture.
Thanks pinder!

I use this to cut the rough shape.
This to smooth it all out.
This to remove the logos and clean up the surface.
And sandpaper to finish it by hand.

I must say, you did an amazing job and I am very grateful you did mine for me. It looks great and my bag wouldn't be complete without it. :thumbsup

I will take a pic this week of what I have; I am waiting for my accurate bonesaw which I purchased recently; for the time being I had a cheap satterlee one (I was a bit on a budget earlier and bought it to fill the bag till I get the accurate one.) Also; since the rachiotomy one can no longer be found; I had bought a different one, the angular bonesaw; I saw it in a Dexter fanmade opening and thought it could be a good substitute if I never find the accurate one. I am also using the newer version of the messermeister bag but I am currently ''hunting'' for the older one.

Looking forward to seeing your pics. I wish people other people would post theirs too. Pinder cut 6 spatulas already and there aren't any pics?! C'mon people!!

I finally got my urn in!! I'm very excited about this prop because it is the source of Arthur's Dark Passenger.
I plan to get a gold nameplate engraved also.

Very impressive display. You should be proud. The little dolls of Trinity and Rudy I've never seen before. How did you even come across them?

Thanks man. No problem

Thanks and I am very proud of it!!!

They aren't dolls, they are Mighty Muggs, lol. I commissioned a custom vinyl artist to make them. I have a Kill Gear Dexter one also. The artist is currently working on Doakes, a Miami Metro Dexter, and Frank Lundy. I plan on getting everyone from The Skinner to Four Walls Arthur Mitchell
