Just out of curiosity, about how many genuine Derwent interconnects are owned in the prop collecting community?

I believe around a dozen.

It's possible I'm the only SW costumer who has an original Luke ANH rectangular pouch along with original triangular and Swiss pouches.

Perhaps you could ID one that I have found...it resembles the one used in the movie but I don't have any info on it. (the one I am talking about is the large pouch that sits near the front of his belt). I will see if I can get a pic to post here.

A lot of parts were found in the past year and a half: OWK lightsaber parts & Solo flash surpessor. And the Macrobinocular parts.

Still baffling are the following, in no certain order:

1. Jawa Giant Blaster

I actually discovered the manufacturer and part number for the "emitter" when I took pics of the piece at the Boston Star Wars exhibit. We tried contacting them, but even they weren't sure what it was.

Looking at the little thing that the tape actually comes out of, I'd say it's probably a different model of tape measure....but wow, it does look close!

I'm sorry if this was a mystery. I recognized that way back in 1979 before ESB came out. I made one for someone for the Opening in 1980.

And I always thought that the treadwell "eyes" looked like 35mm slide viewers. My dad had one in the 70's/80's but it was a tan plastic. Same basic design.

blue sided glass thingies used on Treadwell & in Death Star Detention Block (that get blasted)

I thought they were the same thing, too, but way back someone corrected me with comparison framegrabs, showing that they were different.
