Defiance Lawkeeper Badge

I finally got some free time this weekend to start a new project, I have been wanting to do the Defiance lawkeeper badge for weeks but have been unable to do it. So this week I finially had the time.

Here are some shots of the badge from the series







My original Auto CAD render was done in solid works and then tweaked by a friend in 3d Max, one the bugs in my original were fixed I sent it of to my neighbors for 3D printing, here is my finished 3D render.




I will be cold casting these up in Aluminum which should give the correct look and shine as well as being easy to weather a bit.

The first pull came out nicely, I was able to give it the proper curve or convex shape, it polished nicely and overall I am very pleased, I can make more if there is any interest. The measurements came out to 1/8 thick and 3" in diameter.

Sorry must look like a right dork adding to your original post, I am interested in this badge would be great to convert into a belt buckle for a standard snap belt would look as good as the superman buckle.

The ones I have done would to work out well as a belt buckle, they are quite thin
