What I did was cut the handle section out and remove the air tank first...I split the outer grip frame and made it fit around the body...the frame of the gun is thicker than the grips so I added some ebony shims around the grip to thicken them to the sane size as the pistol frame, then painted the grip frame black...the inner grips I sanded out to fit the gas container...the hardest part for me is the thumb release is WAY too big and gets in the way of the grip...I'm currently cutting down a real Charter arms thumb latch and am going to fit it over the provided square that holds the old one in place!...good luck!
