Death Trooper vacuum form mold sealing

Hey all,

Do you usually coat MDF vacuum form molds with anything?
I'm currently making the vacuum forming molds for my Death Trooper armor. I am using a CNC router to cut layered MDF, attaching together the layers, and sanding it down. Bondo is what I'm using to seal screw holes and such (I hear it stands up to heat well). But is there anything I should coat my finished mold with to make it release from the plastic easier? I know talcum powder helps. I'm not very experienced with vacuum forming but even with my draft edges I'm worried the raw MDF won't let go of the plastic well. Thoughts?
This is a general vacuum forming question so please let me know if I've put it in the wrong forum.
