Darth Vader ROTJ Lightsaber Question

Hello all,
I have a question about the ROTJ darth vader lightsaber. Aka the "stunt" one with the cut rod protruding out.

Ive researched this and found out the "hero" was actually the MMP ESB saber but in reality there really aren't any hero shots in the movie, nor do you see the saber on his belt and many people have said the "stunt" vader saber isn't screen accurate. My question was is the stunt saber ACTUALLY used in the movie and the one he used when filming the throne room duel scene? Ive tried to slow down the screen grabs and it looks like its in his hand when luke chops it off, but its hard to tell.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi MaulFan77 ... first ... the hero saber was made of a Micro Precision Product Flashgun = MPP ... second there was a stunt MPP used in ROTJ and found out as you can see in post#10 here : http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=36797 on page 2 they discuss the G R A F L E X ROTJ Stunt post#41 and further on page 3 post#55 ... alas some other interesting pictures are missing. The prop that was in Vader's hand when chopped of was an entirely other prop ... Oh wow. That's kind of a bummer! So it wasn't even used on screen at all . I actually liked the stunt saber design and was going to buy the MR LE one but now with this knowledge combined with the ridiculous price I might have to reconsider!

Interesting though, why would they bother darkening up the shared stunt saber and make it all Vader looking if they didn't even use it in the film?

This is the only shot where I think it might be used, but please correct me if I'm wrong. The grips don't look long enough to be the ESB MPP or the Barbican, and when the clips in motion you can almost see the D ring at the end

I think you may have interpreted some of my posted links the wrong way ... the ROTJ G R A F L E X is used on screen ... the emitted red light however comes out of the butt end instead of the emitter ... so there are at least 3 different stunt lightsaber designs used on screen in ROTJ ... next to the ESB hero
